For those of you whom have read my previous posts, you know that I have not listed, our exact destination, becuase there is not an exact destination. The end of each day will be our destination! In all reality the destination will be returning back home. However the path to that end is where the excitement and adventure lies. In my mind, I have a list of places that I want us to visit on the way to our end destination.
Some of these places will be grand and breathtaking, places that would be in the top 50 places I want to see or do in my lifetime. Some of the others while not as exciting will be part of the fun of getting there.
So in the spirit of things to come, I am going to outline the first 2-3 days of our grand adventure and our "First" destination, of significance, or should I say interest. Not quite in the top 50, but some place I have always wanted to go, and I will bet most of you have never been too!
On a date not yet decide upon, I plan to travel west across Kansas, across the flint hills, and always on the road less traveled. Just 1 mile before leaving the state of Kansas I plan to "Summit" Mount Sunflower, the highest point in the state!!!
