Today was one of the most difficult days of my life. I will not go into details at this time, later in our journey, I will touch upon my thoughts in regards to pets, etc...
This morning, my best friend in the world was curled up in this bed. He awoke with me like he has done every day for many years. He was awaiting the new day. He had no expectations, desires or demands. He simply wanted to be with me without condition! He expected it to be like every other day we have shared for so many years.
This evening, I have an empty bed next to mine and a gaping hole in my heart!
